First Entry!!!

Ah!!!! I am having a huge headache now... Been having it since afternoon. I really need painkillers :(

Now is trying to get the videos done... Jeason is doing the editing and stuff and he is facing a huge problem which is ME! Sobs... I need to record my voice and dub over the videos... Not having a mike i used my mobile phone instead. Sadly it cannot open it with the movie maker as the program do not read the 'sound' format... So depressing

Communication kind of broke down on msn... Interactive communication carries on as all of us are busy trying to think of a solution...

Kailin message me telling me i can try recording it on my MP3 player but my cousin took it and never return -_-lll Then i realise I can try using my camera to record my voice.

Finally this time round, it can be open on the movie maker program!!! I am so happy!!! Finally progress will be seen~

Of so many different models of communication, I still prefer the transactional way as i can how they react to what I say and I can get feedback faster :)

Saw something on a online novel I read and decided to quote it as I like it a lot~

有些事物,一但放手…就不会重来。
有些人,一但擦身而过…就没机会重逢。
懂得把握机会,才是对自己最好的。
有时候,放开束缚、放手一搏…不见得会失去现有的幸福。

  1. Hope you feel better soon.

Hmmm...for interactive model i think the main problem is that the time taken for feedback can actually delay or even twist the meaning of the message.

I remember the time when I was in primary school and our teacher let us play this game where we stand in one line and we have to pass a message down..it gets really funny by the end cuz it was twisted.

I think that clearly shows the disadvantages of a interactive model.

  2. i agree with what adxuan said as i played that game before too. Mis-communication normally comes in when no feedback is given...

  4. I prefer using MSN as a way to communicate because before you actually tell people something, you can check your words, whether they are appropriate or not. Another reason will also be that I can talk to multiple people at the same time on different, unlike chatting on phone or talking face to face, I have to look the person in the face, as a form of respect... and only one topic with a single person or a group of people, not multiple people multiple topics.

One disadvantage of using MSN to communicate is that the other party might not catch your tone or speech, often ending up in misunderstandings if the party does not get the meaning.

  5. I think be it transaction or interactive model, all has it pros and cons of it. I still communicate using msn and sms frequently but I prefer transactional as it is more straight foward. =)

  7. ur use of words and emoticons in an msn chat really affects how the other party thinks of u

unlike a face to face conversation the other party cant see u smile while talking or frown, or read ur facial expressions. its much more of a challenge talking face to face as the most subtle of facial expression can cause a huge impact on the conversation u are having

msn ftw, spamming emoticons ftw, it just makes ppl feel more freedom while using sms or msn

  8. face to face communication avoid misunderstanding more as the opposite party can hear the tone of the voice... which i think is the most important factor.

  9. for me i prefer using msn or email as communication tool as i find that i can convey my message better... Especially on sensitive topic and serious matter that is hard to say by the word of mouth.
